Worth the Queue? Coconut Ice Cream at Coco Mama Boracay
Last June 30, Aldrin and I celebrated our 14th Anniversary as a couple. And we were really ecstatic to come back at Boracay now with Laurenne . We visited the island last 2012 and it's so much different now travelling with a toddler! As much as I want to share the Boracay trip starting from the top, I will just give a glimpse for now. For the reason that the next Boracay posts will surely be lengthy.
I believed this dessert was originated in Thailand and popularized in another country as well. I was able to try it when we did Jalan Alor food trip in Malaysia. ( I just checked just now that I haven't made any reviews for that! Eeeep !) But mind you, it was awesome! That's why I was persistent to try when I found out that they have something similar in Boracay.
Coconut Ice Cream with Mango (125 pesos) - How is it? It was just okay for us. My bad that I expected too much on this dessert. I'm not saying it's bad, but it was just okay. I thought I will be reminiscing the exact same taste I had before.
It has coconut meat strands, coconut ice cream, topped with mango, beans and rice c risp ies . Was it worth lining up? Yeah, probably even for once. Take the chance to try this famous dessert while you are there. And don't forget to take a pretty picture of it!
Have you tried it? What do you think about this? :)
